Young monkeys are captured in the wild, separated from their families – often resulting in the killing of their mothers. In captivity, they are chained, trained, and abused for the entertainment of tourists.
But there is hope
Femke is a gift to the planet and the animals. Femke has not only ensured that this type of captivity is illegal, but has also freed 528 monkeys to date.
